Befriender Signup Form

Thank you for your interest in signing up as a Befriender.

You can bless chronically poor families and elderly individuals by being a Befriender. You will be matched with one of them whom you will visit at home and bring the cheque to every month.

As a Befriender, all you need to do is to:
(a) Commit to visiting the family / individual monthly for 12 months,
(b) Attend a 2-hour volunteer briefing to help you prepare for the visits and relationship building.

Don't worry if you have not done this before. The Methodist Welfare Services will support you along the way.

Note: Home visits must be made with at least one adult befriender.
