Freedom to celebrate culture can be found for Christians as they develop scripturally sound ways to handle conflict and events in a way that honours God while staying closely connected with family and community.\nThe Culture Meets Scripture Workshop is designed to help believers uncover their culture’s assumptions and beliefs, then search the Scriptures for how God’s Word answers those needs.\nAbout the Trainer:\nMimi Barker, from the USA, has been a member of Wycliffe for 38 years, much of that time working in Southeast Asia. She is trained in linguistics, translation, orality and cross-cultural studies, and has led many training workshops, including the Culture Meets Scripture workshop.\nOrganised by Wycliffe Singapore\n
