Readers often consider it as the philosophical rambling of its author, identified as Qoheleth the Teacher. To understand him, one must try to grasp his teaching strategy and his central message. Beginning the book with the gloomy note that everything in this world is meaningless and vain, he sets out to explore all the ways people try to find meaning as they pursue wealth, fame, pleasure, and work. He observes that these are spiritual dead-ends and provide no ultimate meaning and joy. He points in a different direction to God as the very source of lasting meaning and joy and encourages his readers to open the only door that will lead to eternal life.\nThe book, Finding Ultimate Meaning and Joy: Lessons from Ecclesiastes, will be launched at the event.\nRegister now!
