Christian doctrine is an articulation of our beliefs that shape and characterise us as the people of God. It is our collection of shared beliefs that enable us to say “This is us!” The coverage of each of the areas of doctrine will be grounded in Holy Scripture, guided by the Church tradition(s), and geared towards engaging contemporary issues and challenges.
The aim of the course is to give students a broad overview of the Christian faith and to appreciate the importance of Christian doctrines for understanding our identity, in turn spurring our practical living.
