The Centre for the Development of Christian Ministry @ Trinity Theological College (TTC) which organises courses to equip Christians for lifelong learning, personal growth and ministry will be offering two evening courses from March to May 2016.
Course 3: Doctrine of Revelation
What is the revelation of God and how do we know it is God’s revelation? Is the Bible truly God’s revelation or the pointer to it? What is the role of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the revealing acts of God? Questions as such have been discussed and debated over the centuries and they continue to shape our understanding of God and His revelatory works in human history. The aim of this course is to help students wrestle with the questions and to attain a basic understanding of the immediacy and mediation of God’s revelation.

Course 4: Contemplating the Atonement – How does Christ Reconcile us to God?
The “Atonement” is one of the central beliefs of the Christian faith. It refers simply to what our Lord Jesus Christ has done, through his life, death and resurrection, to reconcile us sinners to the Holy God. The question we will ask in our course is: “How did these acts of Christ achieve the atoning effect?” We will look at both the Bible and the writings of Christian thinkers through the ages for some answers.
