MCS Structural Review

When The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) was founded in 1885, it was organised to reflect Singapore’s multi-ethnic groups, hence, the birth of the Chinese Annual ConferenceEmmanuel Tamil Annual Conference and Trinity Annual Conference. Each of these Annual Conferences is headed by a President. The General Conference is MCS’s highest decision-making body and is led by the Bishop.

With different language services now crossing over to Methodist churches of different Annual Conferences, it is perhaps now a good time for the its church structure to enter into another season of change. The Structural Review Task Force is looking into how to organise MCS better, so as not to duplicate services or overstretch precious resources in serving our congregations.

This webpage is intended to share updates and articles of the structural review and changes that is on going happening in MCS.
