HK Methodists here to learn about youth work

AN EIGHT-MEMBER team from Kowloon Methodist Church, Hong Kong, visited our Methodist churches from March 15 to 23 to learn more about the work of our Youth Ministries.

Led by their Minister-in-Charge, the Rev Wilson Chan Tak-cheong, the team members held discussions with pastors of our local churches, church workers and youths and exchanged ideas on youth work experiences.

They also called on Bishop Dr Robert Solomon on March 20 at his office and were taken on a quick tour of the Methodist Centre.

Mr Lo Wai Ki, a member of the group, said: “We believe that we will benefit from this trip. We want to bring home good resource materials and insights of the Singapore experience to Hong Kong so that we can help to improve the development of our Youth Ministry.”
