SLIGHTLY over a month after Aldersgate Convention 2002 came to a close at Paya Lebar Methodist Church, a new committee has already been formed to organise a couple of events to commemorate Aldersgate in May 2003.
Under the direction of the Bishop’s Office at The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) headquarters, the new Organising Committee will be chaired by the Rev Dr Daniel Koh, District Superintendent (West) of Trinity Annual Conference and a lecturer at Trinity Theological College.
Professor William Abraham, the Albert Outler Professor of Wesleyan Studies at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, has accepted an MCS invitation to be the keynote speaker. He will speak on the theme “A Reasonable Faith – Wesleyan Insights”.
