Pentecost Methodist Church is MWS’ latest partner

PENTECOST Methodist Church (PMC) is the latest Methodist church to partner the Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) in its outreach efforts to the disadvantaged and needy in the community through the Tampines Family Service Centre (TFSC).

PMC and the MWS signed a Memorandum of Understanding for this partnership on Jan 24, 2003. The event was witnessed by Bishop Dr Robert Solomon, Mr Chan Kum Kit, the MWS Chairman; the Rev Jonathan Seet, PMC’s Pastor-in-Charge; and Ms Patricia Khoo, PMC’s LCEC Chairman.

This new partnership will bring about collective efforts, resources and strategy in reaching out to the community that spans from Tampines to Simei.

The event was brought to a close with Bishop Dr Solomon affirming the work done at TFSC. In his exhortation from 1 Timothy 5, he emphasised the importance of the family unit and the ties that bind it together.

A firm handshake and beaming smiles from Ms Khoo and Mr Chan seal a new partnership between Pentecost Methodist Church and the Methodist Welfare Services. — MWS picture.
