ST. FRANCIS METHODIST SCHOOL, a leading private secondary and post-secondary institution, has been awarded the four-year EduTrust certification by the Council for Private Education (CPE). Its Principal, Mrs Lenie Cho, was recently recognised for 20 years of faithful service in education by the General Conference Council of Education in e Methodist Church in Singapore.
The coveted four-year EduTrust certification distinguishes higher quality institutions in Singapore’s private education industry for maintaining strong academic systems and processes, and upholding high standards in its delivery of its programmes. To date, only 28 private institutions have achieved four-year EduTrust certification, while 52 others have achieved the provisional one-year certification.
The CPE is a statutory board that oversees the effective regulation and quality assurance of all private education institutions in Singapore.
It provides effective consumer education and student support for all students, foreign and local.
It monitors the strategic development and promotion of the private education industry, ensuring that institutions have the ability to maintain sustained operational and organisational excellence.
