TEA WITH BISHOP: BISHOP Dr Robert Solomon hosted a tea fellowship at Trinity Theological College (TTC) on July 8, 2002 for 20 new TTC students who are Methodists.

Among them were three Malaysians and one from Papua New Guinea.

The afternoon began with the Rev Chong Chin Chung, the Chaplain for Methodist students at TTC, introducing himself and asking each of the students to say a few words about himself or herself.

The Rev Chong, who is District Superintendent (City-East) of the Chinese Annual Conference of The Methodist Church in Singapore, assured the students that he is always available should they need any kind of assistance.

Bishop Dr Solomon gave a Powerpoint presentation on the heritage, structure and work of The Methodist Church in Singapore. He encouraged the students to work hard and to remember their calling.

He told them that life in TTC is rich and rewarding, and they should form little study groups to help each other along, and this would make their stay in college even more fulfilling.
