Here’s a great opportunity to partner “Celebrate Christmas in Singapore” (CCIS) this year, as it ramps up efforts for its 10th year of sharing the true meaning of Christmas with Singaporeans and tourists along Orchard Road!
Just pick up and share the CCIS magazine with your relatives, neighbours, colleagues and friends – and invite them to a CCIS performance, or your church’s Christmas service and event.
The CCIS magazine has been produced by Cru Singapore (formerly Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ), and can be used for sharing the Gospel with family and friends.
The theme for this year’s magazine is “All I Want for Christmas”, and showcases meaningful real-life experiences related to Christmas, penned by Singaporeans. It focuses on the importance of treasuring family and building strong bonds that will last, encouraging readers to stay true to traditional family values.
The cover article features three fathers and their families, highlighting how important the father’s role is for a healthy home. The magazine also includes a manga (Japanese cartoon) section on the biblical Christmas story, as well as an interview with popular MediaCorp host, Ms Belinda Lee, on the topic of being a blessing to the less fortunate.
Ask your church to order the magazine for distribution and share the “good news that will cause great joy for all the people” (Luke 2:10)!

How to use the CCIS magazine? Some ideas:
Give it out at church-wide Christmas events e.g. concerts, Christmas plays or community outreaches.
Give it out as Christmas gifts during house-to-house or street carolling.
Encourage church members or cell groups to give it to relatives, Neighbours, colleagues and friends with an invitation to your church Christmas service or event.
Encourage church members to organise Christmas barbeques, birthday parties or home Christmas outreach, and give it out as part of their goodie bags.
