About the Illustrator

FAVIAN EE has been creating comics since he was a child. He grew up in a Methodist family and received his education Methodist schools. Even at a tender age, he was finding ways to express his faith through comics. He served as a writer and illustrator in a Methodist church youth ministry as a young adult, and later created a series of Christian comics stationery which was sold in local bookshops under the brand “Wen’s World Christian Comics”. He later went back to study animation and thereafter worked as a visual effects artist for Hollywood movies for about seven years. Songwriting for the soul’s sojourn

As Methodists, hymnody is more than musical faith expression—it is theology set to music. Having served in the music ministry since the millennial turn, sacred music has helped deepen our faith. A decade ago, heeding the call to “sing to the Lord a new song”, we started composing pieces that we hoped would reflect timeless…

Our Wesleyan heritage

Being a Methodist means being inspired by a founder who believed tradition was to be respected but not slavishly followed, who embraced innovation but did not do so mindlessly, and who freely pursued Christian perfection without being burdened by any expectation of achieving perfection in this life. It means being a part of a tradition…
