Digital Content Producer

The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) is a connectional church comprising the General Conference, three Annual Conferences, local churches, and various agencies and organisations. The General Conference (GC) is the highest body of the MCS, responsible for legislation, policy, and the overseeing of its various agencies, including the programme agencies responsible for education, missions, and welfare services.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Digital Content Producer to join our Communications team. In this role, you will develop engaging digital content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, digital publications, and marketing campaigns. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to bring ideas to life through compelling visuals, videos, and written content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of content strategies across social media platforms
  • Develop and produce engaging digital content for use on social media, websites, digital publications, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create visual assets such as social media graphics, banners, posters, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce photography and video content for events, campaigns, and online platforms.
  • Write creative and engaging copy for social media posts, campaigns, and digital communications.
  • Conceptualise and execute creative campaigns from ideation through production.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, volunteers and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality content.
  • Manage social media platform, performance tracking and reporting
  • Monitor digital media trends and recommend innovative content ideas and platforms.
  • Support communications initiatives and event coverage across the organisation.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in digital content creation, social media management, graphic design, photography, or videography.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, CapCut Pro, etc).
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and content optimisation.
