CAC BOARD OF YOUTH MINISTRY

Formed in 2003, the Board of Youth Ministry (BOYM) is the youngest board of the Chinese Annual Conference (CAC). The CAC BOYM is a connection of youths who long to grow deeper spiritually, live to a higher calling and be called to a wider influence!

The mission of the BOYM is to make “Every CAC Youth Ministry a healthy youth ministry!” It is involved in training and equipping youth leaders. It also organises events like STEPS for a Cause, bringing together the youths from different churches for a good cause.

ETAC METHODIST YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

The Emmanuel Tamil Annual Conference (ETAC) has adopted the “MYF” model for its Youth ministry. Its vision is to have a dynamic youth group at each of ETAC’s local churches. The theme is ‘towards true worshippers and doers of God’s word’.

The ETAC MYF Committee is led by a President and Vice Presidents, and constantly seeks to groom leaders to ensure quality events and equip the next generation of leaders for the youth ministry and churches.. The Committee leads a combined Youth Service for all youth every third Saturday of the month at Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church. It has organised two retreats especially for teenagers dealing with issues such as salvation, teen pressures, struggles and growth. The MYF Committee meets for bible study each month, leading by example to study and apply the Scriptures.

At the local church level, each youth group is led by a President. They are encouraged to have regular fellowship gatherings in their respective churches.

TRUTHMIN

Truthmin is an operational arm of the Board of Youth Ministry of the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC) that serves MCS and its local church youth ministries in nurturing Christ-centred youths. Its mission is to nurture Christ-centred youths in culturally-relevant ways through worship, discipleship and leadership development.
