Favian Ee has been creating comics since he was a child. He grew up in a Methodist family and received his education from Methodist schools. Even at a tender age, he was finding ways to express his faith through comics. He served as a writer and illustrator in a Methodist church youth ministry as a young adult, and later created a series of Christian comics stationery which was sold in local bookshops under the brand “Wen’s World Christian Comics” He later went back to study animation and thereafter worked as a visual effects artist for Hollywood movies for about seven years. He is now a part-time lecturer, art instructor and freelance artist.

- Speaker with National Library Board for art journaling workshop (2017) and Speech Bubble comics festival (2016)
- Worked on over 20 movies including Interstellar (2014), which won an Oscar and BAFTA
