Founded in 1997, the Methodist School of Music (MSM) is an agency of the Methodist Church in Singapore and is registered with the Ministry of Education. For more than two decades, MSM has been committed to nurturing musical excellence and strengthening the worship and music ministries of churches in Singapore and the region.
MSM’s work is shaped around three core areas: Worship Music, Community Outreach, and Music School.
Through Worship Music, MSM trains and equips worship teams and supports the development of church music ministries.
Through Community Outreach, music becomes a means of care – bringing joy to seniors and fostering connection through music therapy.
Through the Music School, MSM offers quality music education in a Christian environment, nurturing both musical growth and a heart for service.
Across churches, schools, and the wider community, MSM gathers people together through music to worship, to connect and to serve.
A wide range of programmes is offered, from instrumental and vocal training to specialised courses in church music, worship, and liturgy. Through these, MSM equips individuals and communities with the skills, understanding, and vision to serve faithfully through music.
