Come join us for a contemplative beach clean-up on International Coastal Clean-up day, where you can participate in caring for creation by cleaning up trash from our beaches!
It will be a meaningful time of contributing to restoration of the health of our oceans as well as learning what the Christian faith has to do with the rest of creation.
Note
• Clean-up equipment will be provided.
• Please come comfortably attired for ease of movement, and with covered shoes for safety.
• Please bring along water and a snack as you may require.
Important note
As the current oil spill clean-up is projected to take 3 months (into Sep), with progressive opening of the affected beaches, we will confirm the continuation or discontinuation of the event by 14 Sep 2024. In the event that the beach is not yet opened but volunteers are welcomed to join national agencies in the final phase of the oil spill clean-up, we may pivot this event to join in the oil spill clean-up instead. Please look out for more information from us closer to the date, by 14 Sep 2024.
