Three Methodist schools welcome new Principals appointed with effect from 15 Dec 2015. They are:
Mrs Chaillan Mui Tuan, Anglo-Chinese School (Junior). She is no stranger to the Methodist community, having served as Principal of Fairfield Methodist School (Primary) for the past seven years. Prior to that, she was Vice-Principal of Catholic High School (Primary) for two years, and did a three-year stint as Music Curriculum Specialist at Ministry of Education (MOE), Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD).
She spent 10 years as a student in Methodist Girlsâ School, attends Covenant Community Methodist Church, and has two daughters and a son.
Mdm Law Li Mei, Fairfield Methodist School (Primary). She started her teaching career as a General Paper Tutor at Serangoon Junior College, and was subsequently posted to MOEâs CPDD and involved in the development of Project Work at the JC level. She has been Vice-Principal at Paya Lebar Methodist Girlsâ School (Secondary) and First Toa Payoh Primary School, and Principal at Junyuan Primary School.
She is married with two teenage sons.
Mr Wee Tat Chuen, Geylang Methodist School (Secondary). He began as a Math and Physical Education teacher at Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary), and had previously been a student there for four years. He has been Vice-Principal at NorthLight School, and was Principal of Assumption Pathway School for five years. Over the past two years, he has been Principal (Special Projects) at MOEâs Educational Leadership Development Centre and Engagement and Research Division, and also completed his Masterâs in Educational Policy and Management at Harvard University.
He attends and serves at Aldersgate Methodist Church with his wife Joyce (also a teacher) and two children.
