Four Methodist schools are seeking support from the Methodist community to provide necessary and appropriate facilities for their students through on-going building projects.
Education Secretary Mrs Christine Ho presented their appeals during the Council on Education report at the 39th Sessions of the three Annual Conferences in Nov 2014.
Geylang Methodist School (Primary) is upgrading its infrastructure to enable it to operate in single session in two years’ time. This includes the construction of an Indoor Sports Hall, part of an initiative begun by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2007 to build such halls in all schools.

Fairfield Methodist School (Primary) started its upgrading at the end of 2013, and is looking forward to three new blocks of special classrooms, an Indoor Sports Hall, and a 320-seater Performing Arts Studio.

Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) is also undergoing upgrading under the MOE’s Primary Education Review and Implementation (PERI) recommendations. The new facilities are targeted at supporting differentiated learning, and educational approaches which encourage more interaction and self-discovery.

Methodist Girls’ School has just embarked on the building of its Integrated Sports Complex, along with the other PERI and Integrated Programme Facilities.
