Pasir Panjang Tamil Methodist Church turns 88

Pasir Panjang Tamil Methodist Church celebrated its 88th anniversary on 14 June 2015, honouring their local church pioneers who had served during the 1927-1975 period. The Pioneer Award was given in conjunction with the SG50 and MCS 130 celebrations. Pastor-in-Charge, the Rev Philip Abraham said: “I greatly rejoice and thank God in celebrating with PPTMC its 88th Anniversary. The highlight in the service was our Bishop’s message entitled ‘Revive Us Again O Lord’. He called on all members to be revived in deepening ourselves in the Word of God and to reach out to the community in service.”

Bishop Dr Wee Boon Hup also spoke about humility, a continual dependence on God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit for revival.
