Creation Care Conference unites 500 Christians across Asia to explore faith, climate action and stewardship

On 12 and 13 September 2025, over 500 participants from 130 churches across 10 countries came together to attend the second Creation Care Conference jointly hosted by Faith Methodist Church and Queenstown Chinese Methodist Church. It was organised by Our Father’s World (OFW), an organisation that was founded in 2020 “to inspire and equip the Church to love and care for God’s creation”.

140 trees planted by Methodists—a commitment to creation care

Wet weather did not deter more than 100 adults and children from the Methodist community to come together to plant 140 trees, as part of several activities this year to commemorate The Methodist Church in Singapore’s (MCS) 140th Anniversary.

Barker Road Methodist Church reopens sanctuary after 1.5 years

After a year and a half of closure, Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC) re-opened its sanctuary on 13 July 2025 for church services. Church members and well- wishers were treated to a refreshed sanctuary, the culmination of the work of a team of architects, lighting engineers, acoustic design specialists and audio-visual consultants.

Earlier this year, TRAC Board of Worship & Evangelism (BOWE) launched a new video series called “Witnessing in Gentleness and Respect” (WIGR). The 4-part video series is discipleship material to help Christians critically reflect on how to engage people of different faiths and convictions, especially in today’s social climate.
