Serving in ministry grounds my priorities in God

Serving in ministry remains a vital anchor alongside my full-time career as an in-house legal counsel. Balancing professional commitments with family and church life requires intentionality, but it grounds my priorities in God.

In the Communications Ministry, we help curate stories that share the gospel and build community. In WSCS, we support women across all life stages, while through the Marketplace Ministry, I facilitate sharing sessions for young female lawyers.

These ministries are important to me because they continuously remind me of three values. First, my identity and worth are rooted in being a child of God. Second, God is sovereign and in control, and I need to draw power from God and not rely on my own strength. Third, I am to love others, because Christ first loved me. Kingdom work allows me to steward my time efficiently, learn from and also build up others, and serve as an ambassador for Christ. The fellowship bonds that have been built through serving are precious gifts from God, which I do not take for granted.

Whether leading worship at traditional service, organising sharing sessions on topics that resonate with Christian women or walking alongside young professionals, these are meaningful opportunities to reflect God’s love and glorify him.
