Methodist School of Cambodia needs teachers and books

PHNOM PENH – The Methodist School of Cambodia (MSC) needs volunteer teachers as well as books for its library.

In the next academic year 2010-2011, the MSC will have 20 classes, and it needs volunteers to teach Grade 10 and 11 English classes. Retired teachers who have a burden for the education of the future generation of Cambodia are requested to consider teaching at the school – even if they can only do so for three, six or 10 months.

The school has just renovated its library with book shelves donated by Anglo-Chinese School (Primary). It still needs many English books.

Please contact the Methodist Missions Society (MMS) at tel: 6478-4818 or email mms@methodist.org.sg if you can volunteer to be English teachers for at least three months, or can donate used story books in good condition to the library.
