What’s the big deal about seeing a fortune teller?

I have been a Christian for years but I still see a fortune teller out of curiosity and just for fun. I find that what I’m told makes some sense to me. Some friends tell me not to, but I don’t see what the big deal is.

Some may wonder if this is an instance of a secular law being put in place to compel children to fulfil God’s commandment to “Honour your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12). I think not.
